It is with deep sadness that the Lakewood Fire Department announces the untimely passing of one of our own, Firefighter Qua’dry W. Lyons on January 14, 2025.

Firefighter Qua’dry Lyons joined our department as a Volunteer Firefighter in June of 2023 and was hired as a full-time career Firefighter in July of 2024 and quickly became a valued member of the Department. In his time with us, he demonstrated immense dedication, courage, and a passion for serving our community. His commitment to the fire service and his willingness to go above and beyond for others will always be remembered.

Our department is heartbroken by this loss, and our thoughts are with Firefighter Lyons family, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. We ask for privacy and understanding as we come together to support one another and honor his memory.
